JinHua Pocket Garden

The project is located on the south side of Jinpan Road in Jinhua City, between the Liuhe Garden and New Youth Mansion residential communities. The ten design sites of the competition perfectly connect the urban network of Jinhua. Just as Olmsted, the father of American landscape architecture, used the Emerald Necklace project to connect Boston. Utilizing existing trees, the project adds a combination of flowers and grasses, primarily sage and pink muhly grass, to create a natural and wild plant atmosphere, crafting a social landscape. We hope to create a natural space within the community that is jointly built, shared, and enjoyed, connecting the community through the influence of nature and revitalizing it with the power of space. This will transform the community from independent management and operation to a shared participation in a natural garden where people can stroll and enjoy the flowers and vegetable patches.
